About the World Basketball Association
The World Basketball Association is a 13-team premiere basketball summer league headquartered in Atlanta, GA that runs from the end of April through July. Elite players are often catapulted into further opportunities on NBA summer league teams and preseason training camps. Founded in 2003, the WBA offers transition from college to professional ball, while providing each community with an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The league offers entertainment at home games from local radio personalities to entertainment from record labels such as Universal, Atlantic, Sony, and Def Jam.
